Lee Sa Chan

Lee Sa Chan halee-sa-chans a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics from Dickinson College, USA and a Masters in Management from Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.

She is one of the rare few who possesses a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages [TESOL] with Distinction which is given only to teachers who demonstrate outstanding abilities to engage their students actively in the learning process.

Sa Chan has 28 years’ working experience in the banking and financial services industry. During this period, she was involved in various aspects of the industry comprising sales and marketing, corporate & commercial banking, research and planning, product and market development and training.

Her last assignment was with the training department of CIMB Investment Bank Berhad whereby her main role was to develop and conduct the various courses related to Improving Business English, Customer Service, Credit, Presentation Skills, and Handling Difficult Customers. Her passion for training and for people saw Sa Chan opting for early retirement to focus full time on training.

Sa Chan’s vast working experience allows her to conduct her training based on real life experiences rather than on theory. Many of her participants who have attended her Improving Business English sessions say that they are very work oriented and they can relate easily to the examples given.
In addition to conducting Improving Business English courses, Sa Chan also conducts both technical and soft skill courses for FSTEP (Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme) which is under the auspices of Bank Negara Malaysia. Her ability to pass the exacting high standards posed by Bank Negara Malaysia illustrates her effectiveness and professionalism as a trainer.
